Welcome to Antiqua Natura,

a Restored Covenant in the English Fens

notes on the tribunal of Stonehenge for the Ars Magica Roleplaying Game

In the Summer of 1213 A.D. Gregory of Jerbiton, a Magus of the Normandy Tribunal, made the fateful decision to attempt to re-establish the destroyed Covenant of Natura Antiqua in the Cambridgeshire Fens of England, thus creating a new Covenant in the Stonehenge Tribunal.

To assist in this project he wrote to several newly gauntleted young Magi, asking them if they were interested in joining his Covenant. He did not mention that it was currently in ruins and inhabited by swarms of undead horrors, nor the bleak setting or the virulent Fen Ague, a malarial type disease endemic to the region!

This is the Saga of the young Magi who joined him in this adventure, an overconfident group of young hotheads who believed they could establish themselves as a real force in the Order of Hermes, and their companions and allies in the attempt to recreate the lost covenant, which they renamed Antiqua Natura to distinguish it from it's earlier incarnation...
