Background

Carl was born into a very well to do English family. 
However when he was still young his father died in
mysterious circumstances and his mother
re-married. 

He did not get on with his step father and would
often wander through the woods of the family home
to escape the tyrant. During one of these walks he had an
experience which would shape the rest of his life.

In a clearing in the wood on a dark cold December
evening he saw at first what he thought was fog
settling down by the river. He soon realised that it
was actually a figure forming within the mist.
The figure moved through the clearing down
to the river. Carl approached though scared shitless!
To his horror as he watched the figure move it realised
it was the spirit of his father and it was moving towards
the river. Carl looked on in as the figure made it's way
out over the water before  disappearing below the surface.
Carl had always been told his father died of cancer,
but this experience raised dark doubts in his young mind.

Carl resolved to investigate the paramormal experience to
find the truth behind his fathers death, something
which is still unresolved.

Carl studied languages at Cambridge where he graduated
with a first. It was also there that he was recuited by 
the intelligence services as an operative. Carl viewed it
as an opportunity to work on his real main interest in life,
the occult and what message his late father was trying to
tell him. Since being in the service he has served all over
the world and has passing knowledge of other
languages. He was on location in the South of England
when he received his call to the rendezvous with the
mysterious Mr J.

Carl is very mild mannered and well spoken and above all
an English gentlemen. His hobbies are include polo and
hockey as well as rally driving when he has
the time. He drinks perfect Martini's!
