Cassandra 23: A Tale of Time and Space

April 8th, 2000 - South West England and Beyond...

Journal of Agent Hamlet - continued...

Raffles and I set about repairing the beacon and we were soon at the base. The situation there was no better as the Migos had attacked destroying the reactor, which would soon turn the base into a radioactive puddle. What we did find though was West's brain as the Migos had removed it from his body though it still appeared to be functioning.

We attempted to communicate with it in an attempt to build a further gate to facilitate our escape. Jones and I left the others along with the very famous Michael Phiness

(who had his very useful two man hiking tent with him) to communicate with the remains of West, whilst we fought off two Migos that were trying to infiltrate the base.

Jones showed much bravery in the fight and quite a bit of ingenuity for someone with his limited training in assisting me to despatch the two beasts.

Time was however running out for the base and with no way of escaping we looked doomed. However one of our old enemies Lux appeared in the base offering us an alternative gate home all we had to do was utter a few words. We did not trust him at all but were left with little in the way of options as our attempts to construct our own gate had ended in failure and as a last resort we agreed to go through.

Fortunately we were saved by Phiness who managed to alter the gate so that we returned to Chelt the same could not be said for the crew of the base but after all they were only extra's!

We did not see J again but apparently he was pleased with our work, if only I could prove he was a double agent!

Well I've been on leave since then with the Australian Ladies beach volleyball team which has been an eye opening experience only to recently get another distressed call from J asking me to rendezvous next Saturday - doesn't he know England are playing Germany!

This is a description of a 'murder mystery' type live action roleplaying game, and in no ways implies any interest or belief in the occult, espionage or the Cthulhu Mythos. It's just a game chaps!
