Background

Jack Cole grew up in a fairly normal family existence.
At the age of seventeen he joined the army and during
basic training he was picked up by Agent Smith for a special
operations division of the Company. He had extensive
training at West Point and a facility in Maryland.
He took on the jobs that one else would (i.e. deep cover
assassinations).

About five years ago he escaped from the service and went
into hiding in Tibet. He said at the time that the job
would kill him. The truth was that a job in the Far East
nearly did and he had a sudden moment of clarity.

It is said he was saved by a holy man, who taught him to
better handle his anger, and his past. It was during this
time that during a period of Meditation he took a spirit
walk and made contact with another world as he put it.
It was after this experience that he decided to return to
America to start a new life.

However the Company had other ideas and believing he had
been turned they tried to eliminate him. Cassandra 23
learnt of this through some contacts with a maverick group
called Delta Green who had been observing him for potential
recruitment, and brokered a deal where Jack would
start a new life working for C23 in England. Jack knows
nothing about the aims or even existence of the U.S group
Delta Green.
