Cassandra 23: A Tale of Time and Space

Journal of Agent Hamlet - continued...

My recollection of the exact trace of events is rather hazy after having performed numerous missions since but I seem to recall going to a local public house to try and stop the TV celebrities from acquiring a tape proving the existence of the UFO's. I got the chance to charm them both while one of my colleagues stole the video from them.

After having retrieved the tape and avoided a further confrontation with the MIB's we were requested by Mr J to investigate down by the disused railway as the famed scientist Alex West (whose disappearance we were investigating) car had been sighted. However there again the MIB's were waiting, I believe that J and them were working together. We managed to avoid a shooting war in the middle of Chelt and made our way to the asylum where Suzie Nichols was now a patient, she was a once girlfriend of Alex West. In between her ramblings she kept mentioning that the stars were right and travel to the stars. Perplexed by this rather than in any way helping we set of for the Gillman Institute again at the bequest of the highly irritating J. There we were told about a secret moon base - well J considered it to be secret. Though through an earlier mission I knew of it's existence and asked us to travel there via a gate in the stars to resolve difficulties they were having with the MIB's which turned out to be mythos monsters.

We were equipped with what we were assured as being the most advanced space suits and communication devices before being transported through the gate to the moon.

The trip did not unduly concern me but I cannot say the same for the rest of the team. Once on the moon we were asked to repair a beacon so that we could be picked up by the moon buggies but before we had done so we were attacked by what I believe are Migo which destroyed our gate and the only means by which we could leave the moonbase.

This is a description of a 'murder mystery' type live action roleplaying game, and in no ways implies any interest or belief in the occult, espionage or the Cthulhu Mythos. It's just a game chaps!
